Hi Rajan! If I won I would design and make posters and leaflets to explain the exciting ways we use physics to treat cancer! I’d send these to the schools that took part in I’m a Scientist and come to some of the schools in person too 🙂

hahaha good question – I think I’ll leave it up to you to vote for whoever you want to. Or, if you really don’t know vote for the person with the most likes – Bayesian statistics would indicate they probably deserve it the most.

Hi Rajan – you should vote for whichever scientist you liked the most!

If I won, I would use the money to buy equipment to run experiments in schools. A lot of the schools I work with have a lot of students from less advantaged backgrounds and can’t afford it. Then I could go in, bring the materials with me and show off my profession at the same time.

I would never presume to tell you to vote for me! I love all the other science projects from the other guys as well.

I can tell you what we’d do though. We already take some of our more portable research microscopes into schools (primary and secondary) and show how wonderful things look at the “micro” level. We talk about our research and we get people to build mobile phone microscopes, or a basic one using a Rasberry Pie, or even a drop of water!

I would use the money to makes some proper workbooks and buy a new USB plug-in microscope which means we can show everything easily on the computers.

Hi Rajan! Similar to the other scientists, if I was lucky enough to win I would buy some new equipment which I could take to Science Festivals/Open Days/School Visits to showcase how Science can be applied in a Sport, Exercise and Health setting!
