This is a difficult question, I have been very lucky to have had the opportunity to study so many amazing animals using camera traps. One of my favourites has definitely been brown bear, they are such big beautiful animals, and they were living in such a beautiful place. They were quite rare to pick up on the camera traps, but this made it even more exciting when you did get a video of one! I was studying them in Romania, in the countryside, and it was such a wonderful place to visit and work in, so that helped too. Also bears can be dangerous if you run into them in person- so it’s nice to watch videos of them up close without having to worry!
I like taking photos of the chickens that live in my garden – there all sorts of colors, grey, white, black and brown hens. Also they are really cheeky – sometime they jump up onto the windowsills outside and look in to our living room.
