Hi Areena, this is a great question! As I was getting towards the end of my physics degree, I started to think about what career I wanted to go into. One type of job I thought about was being a medical physicist, which is a type of scientist who works in the NHS as an expert on things that involve radiation and imaging. This really appealed to me because I would get to use my love of physics to do something practical that was making a positive impact 🙂
