I learned about the diversity of wildlife, animal behaviour and ecology and about wildlife conservation at global and local scales. I also learned research and field skills and how to carry out my own research. I also learnt about evolution and about how wildlife has changed and how the world is still changing, especially with regard to climate change and human influence. I liked the course at Reading because there were lots of different options with different modules I could choose to study. Each module ran for 10 weeks with a couple of classes a week, and we chose about 12 modules each year, so we could pick lots of different things to study
