I’m not a space scientist, so I can’t say anything about the science behind the mission, but it’s exciting! Can’t believe that there’s a possibility we’ll go to Mars on day… Can you imagine? Travelling to another country is already awesome, but a completely different planet?? I look forward to it!

I’m not a space scientist at all – but I’m absolutely amazed by the technology involved! It blows my mind! I think space research is really important because you can never know how discoveries will be made use of in the future. Lots of technology we use in daily life came from things they needed to design for the Apollo and Space Shuttle missions last century.

I think perseverance is doing a great job. What really excites me is when SpaceX Starship starts sending people to mars. Just 5 days ago NASA selected SpaceX project Artemis to send astronauts to explore more of the moon – a possible practice for sending humans to Mars.

Like the others space isn’t my area, but I love hearing about all of the advances being made, like being able to photograph a black hole for the first time ever! I think the Mars Mission is amazing, the fact that we’ve been able to not only land a probe on another planet, but control what it does from Earth, and send back photographs of Mars is just incredible. It’s exciting to think what could be possible in a few more years 🙂

I think it’s great. It’s amazing that in just over 100 hundred years we’ve gone from the first flight on Earth, to the first flight on another planet. I also think that the future of humans is in space, and experiments like these are a stepping stone to something great.

I think it’s very exciting. NASA and SpaceX are achieving great feats of human endeavour. I look forward to seeing what the future brings. I wonder if/when the science shown in the film ‘The Martian’ could become a possibility on the planet.

I’m super excited! It’s always great when there’s a breakthrough anywhere in science. I was just as excited when the first COVID-19 vaccine was released.
As soon as they need scientists to go to Mars though, I’m signing up!
