• Question: What are you planning to do after your PhD?

      I’d like to study neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease or Motor Neuron Disease. I did my masters degree in Clinical Neurology so I’d really like to take what I’ve learned studying ageing more generally back into the study of brain disorders. I don’t know what kind of job I’m going to do but I’m flexible with that so I’m not restricting myself to one route.

    I’m going to be working in MRI in a hospital while I do my PhD. I’m really excited about new developments that will make the scans much faster – meaning we can scan more people each day and make MRI more cost effective.
