      You can have skin mites (called Demodex folliculorum) all over your skin (including your eyelids) and normally they don’t cause any harm, they might even be helpful most of the time. That’s why they’re not true parasites because parasites only cause disease.

      You can get types of nematode worm that infect your eyes but they are only common in really hot places and they are easily treated with medicine. But still gross…
