For me it is fun ๐Ÿ™‚ My favourite parts about it are talking to other scientists about our work and ideas and when I can get things to work by solving problems when I’m playing with machines and bits of code. It can be pretty satisfying when the work you’ve put into a project pays off with a result that makes some progress or tells you something about your area of science!

Yes, being a scientist can be fun! ๐Ÿ™‚

My favourite part is travelling to different places to work on new things or to work with other scientists. It gives me the opportunity to learn new things all the time, open my mind to other cultures and other ways of working, and improve my skills as a scientist.

Hi Aliyah – I think so yeah! My favourite thing to do in my day to day job is teach the students about all the equipment in the lab. Outwith day to day things, I really like attending science festivals and outreach events and showcasing the work we do and showing people how science can be applied to Sport, Exercise and Health! ๐Ÿ™‚

I enjoy telling people about my research findings and discovering new data that may be of help

There’s certainly plenty of fun involved if you love doing science. Talking and being social with other scientists, playing with cool new equipment, learning loads of new and interesting things about the world around you! my two favourite things to do are looking at cells down our really clever microscopes and also chatting to other scientists about ideas.
