  This is a great question! When I read your question I immediately thought about the first time I found a coprolite, which is… hum, well… a fossilized poo! I had no idea that we could find this, and I just thought it looks really odd because it was like a little stone (because it was fossilized) but was a bit crumbly as well. I’ll spare you the weird details, but it turned out it was from a hyena from the Ice Age!
