      I’m not sure what you mean by a “real” scientist? It’s an interesting Q as to “what is a scientist”? Science is really a way of working and thinking – having an idea, then designing a test to see if it’s right, then looking at the results and changing the idea. I think if you work using this approach, then you are definitely a scientist – and it would certainly make me a scientist.

      So science is done (by scientists) in lots of different jobs and places. I work in a lab in a University, but there are scientists working in companies and industry and hospitals and lots of other places as well.
